About Margo Uma Gal (LMT # 6129)

I was first certified as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in 1987 by Dr. Vasant Lad. For several years, I worked under his guidance at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque N.M. as Pancha Karma Specialist and Yoga/Ayurvedic Instructor now called Ayur-Yoga.

In 1992 I founded and directed the Yoga Mandir Studio in Santa Fe New Mexico and since have been graciously invited to teach internationally including the Southwest Yoga/Ayurvedic Conferences. In 2004, I completed certification as Ayurvedic Practitioner under Dr. Sunil Joshi and Kalidas Sanskrit University in Nagpur India. This involved mastering practical applications of Purva Karma and various Ayurvedic Body Treatments. Most recently in 2006, completing the Gurukula clinical program in Pune India under Dr. V. Lad.

A License Massage therapist and Yoga Instructor for 30 years, topics I enjoy teaching are: Introduction to Ayurveda & Ayurvedic Massage, Restorative Pranic Yoga, & The Five Pranic Breaths. In my private practice I strive to bring the ancient secrets of Ayurveda back from its roots in the same way it was given in nature thousands of years ago. I feel most fortunate to offer these treatments in the Tropical womb of Hawaii, nature herself.

The work dearest to my heart is the spiritual work of Shri Ramana Maharshi from South India. With respect to this path, I honor the gift of deep Inner silence and most humbly, with guidance and gratitude share with all who come for healing; the importance of who we really are.
